Poetry being a bit of a strange animal to me, i find it hard to relate to, but yours has a clarity and such a style that its been an absolute joy to read and really opened a few doors in my mind, and i mean that about various other peices ive read of yours aswell .

and i think that where many artists fail or muddy thier message

I've always said, I'd rather have a trailerpark audience, than 2 harvord grads. Not that you're trailerpark, but it's my vitrol against those who use thisori to "enhance" their poetry.

Putting pretty words together isn't poetry, its a colloge. Mostly not a good one either. This, this is the hugest of huge compliments for me. It's like validation of everything I espouse on about writing. I want desperately to preen over it, but all I can do is blush.

(oh, and the word you are looking for dear dear is meter.) I hate to rhyme, it seems like it distills all the fun out of a poem.... even tho I've come up with a few rhyming forms. Meter tricks are what make something SOUND good, and feel right to say. I spend alot of time playing with meter in how I talk, and how I think. It's fun.
